We are the Jim Schreur family living in Tekonsha, located between Marshall and Coldwater just off I-69 in southern Michigan. We moved here from our farm in Dorr, Michigan in 2003. Our children are Bethany (Daniel) Schrock, Abigail (Brandon) Yoder, Rachel (20), Rebekah (19), Elizabeth (14), and Benjamin (12).
We have 30 acres, plus another 10 we rent which we use to raise our dairy goats, beef cows, pigs, chickens, and horses. It is also a great place for our Labs. We are thankful for a wonderful place to live and work together as a family. Our garden, woods, and animals make sure there is always something to do. Jim is a self-employed painter who also does a lot of small drywall jobs. Sandy keeps busy with teaching the children and keeping the house together. In 2011, Bethany married Daniel Schrock and lived in North Carolina while Daniel served in the Marine Corps. They are now settled into their new home in Ohio where Bethany is raising her own herd of goats. The children are involved in FFA, 4H and with their goats, pigs, steers, dogs, horses, canning, making hay, splitting wood... We sell fresh brown eggs as well goat shares which makes it legal to sell milk off our farm. If you are interested in getting milk go to the Milk Share page. God has been very good to us and is continuing to teach us how to be a family and serve Him and others. We hope to be able to serve your family if we have something you are looking for.
