Jerked Vermillion

This is a quick recipe, where the rice or sides will take longer to make.  In “Operation Fill The Freezer 2026”, we actually did.  So, here is another recipe part of “Operation  Empty the Freezer”

Ingredients

  • Vermillion, redfish, whatever need to vacate the freezer

  • B&Gerk

  • Flour for dredging

  • Sprinkle of parmesan

  • Sprinkle of smoked paprika

  • Sprinkle of cayenne

  • Butter patties

 Start your rice.

Preheat the oven to 325

Lay fish filets out in a greased/Pamed baking dish.

I use a mesh strainer to sprinkle flour over meats (fish/pork chops).  Add flour and lightly tap the side.

Sprinkle on B&Gerk, then parmesan, cayenne, and smoked paprika.

Top with a couple thin butter patties

Bake for about 25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets
