Bourbon Blackberry Pork Chops

Another Quick and Easy meal! This one has very slight modifications for the second go around, already in the recipie

Ingredients

Pork Chops

  • 4 pork chops

  • 1 T B&Gerk

  • 1/2 cup flower

  • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries to garnish

  • Chopped Jalepeno (you decide how much!)

Bourbon Blackberry Sauce

  • 1 cup blackberry preserves

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 T bourbon

  • 2 T Balsamic

  • 1 T garlic olive oil

  • 1 t Dijon/brown mustard

  • 2 T minced garlic

  • 1 t B&G

  • 1 cup Blackberries

Instructions

In a small sauce pan, add all sauce ingredients, except the blackberries. Simmer to reduce. When it has the consistency you desire, add the 1 cup blackberries for ~3 minutes

Dredge pork chops in flour. Sprinkle on B&Gerk.

If you are cooking stove top, sear them in a large frying pan. We want to cook them about 3/4 of the way done. After the flip, add about 1/2 the sauce. Fisnish the cook, add the remainder of the sauce and the 1/2 cup of fresh blackberries. Serve

I did this on the outdoor griddle. Cooked the first side mistly done. On the flip, added some juice from the sauce to tops of the pork chops. When done, placed in serving dish, added the remainder of sauce and fresh blackberries. Serve
