Orange Sesame Chicken

A wonderfully quick, simple, and flavorful meal. Wonderful on a bed of rice and spinnach!

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 chicken thighs

  • B&Gerk

  • 1 T garlic olive oil

 Sauce:

  • B&G to taste

  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice

  • 2 T soy sauce

  • 1 T honey

  • 1 T chopped pickled ginger and liquid

  • 4 minced clove garlic

  • 1 T sesame oil

  • ¼ t red pepper flakes

Garnish:

  • 2 T sesame seeds (toasted)

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions for Garnish

Instructions:

Season chicken with B&Gerk

Whisk orange juice, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, B&G, and garlic.

Sear chicken on both sides in a hot skillet with olive oil until golden and nearly cooked through.

Remove the chicken

Pour the honey hoisin sauce into the pan and reduce heat.

When the sauce has slightly thickened place chicken in the pan.

Simmer chicken, turning frequently, until is fully cooked and sauce thickens into a glaze.
Garnish and serve – our suggestion is rice and garlic spinach
