Toasted Garlic Cream Sauce
We use this on Pasta and Zoodles with a variety different ingredients
Ingredients
1 stick of butter
4 T chopped Garlic
1 Cup 1/2&1/2 or cream
1/4 t cayenne
1/2 t smoked paprika
2 t corn starch in 2T cold water
B&G to taste
Place the stick of butter and garlic on Med Low heat. This will slowly toast the garlic.
Prep the veggies, proteins that you will be putting on the pasta. By the time I made zoodles, chopped onions and peppers, and cleaned shrimp, the garlic had browned.
When the garlic is brown, reduce the heat to low or push the pan off the burner.
Wait a few minutes for the butter to cool. I cooked shrimp in this time.
Stir in 1/2&1/2 cayenne, smoker paprika. Taste the sauce, add B&G if needed.
Turn the heat up to medium low. Add the corn starch to thicken the sauce. Stir occasionally. By the time You have cooked veggies and other proteins, this should be thickened. Add you veggies, and proteins to the pasta or zoodles, Mix in the sauce.
